Adam Buckley

Adam Buckley is an attorney with a private law practice in Peabody, MA. Adam J. Buckley, Attorney at Law, P.C. is a general law practice with a focus on Criminal Law, Personal Injury and Family Law. He is a lifelong resident of Peabody, MA, a graduate of St. John’s Prep., Danvers, MA and obtained his B.S. from Providence College and his J.D. from Massachusetts School of Law. Adam is also the Assistant City Solicitor for the City of Peabody and a member of the Essex County Bar Advocate Program representing indigent clients in the Essex County District Courts.
For the last several years, Adam has worked with the Anastasi Family, extended family and friends in attempt to raise funds and awareness for Rett Syndrome and Autism in support of Jenna and Mikey Anastasi. Adam helped incorporate the Spectrum for Hope, Inc., a 501 (c) nonprofit organization, with the Anastasi’s in 2014, in hopes of helping other families with similar medical and financial obstacles.
Adam is active in the Peabody community as a baseball, soccer, and basketball coach and has served on the Peabody Little League Board of Directors, Peabody Travel Basketball Association Board of Directors, and as a league coordinator for the PYSA Soccer Program. Adam is married and enjoys spending time with his wife, Kristen and his four children, Cameron, Christian, Cailyn and Kyra.
Terrence Burgess

Terry Burgess works for Wellington Management Company, LLP, as the Associate Director for Global Equity Portfolio Management. Terry works on a variety of strategic and tactical business issues within the group. He assists with the day-to-day management of investors based in London, Philadelphia, and Boston, and frequently represents equity portfolio management strategies to external clients. He has worked in both the Boston and London offices for Wellington.
Prior to joining Wellington, Terry worked for MFS Investment Management, where he worked in a variety of positions, including equity analyst, covering companies in the basic resources, cable, media, and telecom sectors, and as the investment director for their Private Portfolio Services Group.
Terry lives in Beverly, Massachusetts with his wife Sarah, and their three children Margaret, William, and Caroline. Terry grew up in Beverly and attended Beverly High School. More recently, he earned his MBA from Boston College (Carroll, 1999) and his BA in economics and political science from Bates College (1993). Additionally, he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the Boston Security Analysts Society.
Jim Donovan Jr.

Jim Donovan is the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer at Springstone Financial LLC, located in Westborough, MA. Springstone, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lending Club Corp., provides financing for elective medical procedures nationwide through its Lending Club Patient Solutions brand. Springstone also offers a similar program in the education market geared towards private schools and learning centers under the Your Tuition Solution brand. Prior to forming Springstone, Jim held various roles in credit and operations management at Capital One and Amerifee, LLC.
Jim resides in Franklin, MA with his wife Thidie, and their 2 boys James and Ryan. Jim is a graduate of St. John's Prep in Danvers ('89) and holds a degree in International Studies with a minor in Spanish from Stonehiill College ('93). In his free time, Jim loves to fish, spend time with his family, coach baseball, and serve on the Franklin Youth Baseball Board as league coordinator for the past 8 years.
Jim Donovan Sr.

Jim is a native of the Boston area and holds a BS in Finance from Northeastern University
as well as a degree from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Oklahoma. During his career Jim served in a variety of senior level credit positions at several New England banks. Prior to his retirement in 2001 he was a partner and Chief Financial Officer
of Amerifee Corporation, an intermediary that arranged financing for elective medical procedures throughout the United States. Jim maintains his principal residence in Wayland, MA but can be found fishing and boating on Cape Cod at his summer home in Orleans, MA during the summer months. He currently serves on several Boards, including as Board Chair at Malden Catholic High School, Malden, MA.
Patrick Gould

Patrick Gould joined the Spectrum for Hope Board in 2015. Patrick has spent the last six years as the New England region Director of Sales at Presidio Networked Solutions. Presidio is a leading solution provider in the US that combines scale, experience and stability with regional expertise and service. Presidio helps clients unlock the unlimited potential of a completely connected world. Prior to Presidio, Patrick held several sales and sales management positions at EMC Corporation, a $25B global leader in enabling businesses to transform their operations by leveraging their innovative products and services.
Patrick resides in Haverhill, Ma with his wife, Chris and their two amazing children, Maci (12) and Max(10). Patrick has been a longtime friend to the Anastasi family and has helped out in various fund raising events to help fight Autism and Rett Syndrome. During his free time, Patrick enjoys playing golf and coaching/watching his kids participate in various sporting events throughout the year. Patrick is proud to be part of the Spectrum for Hope Board and is excited to raise awareness for the struggles families go thru every day dealing with the effects of Autism and Rett Syndrome.
Josh Johnson

Joshua Johnson is President of both Johnson Paint Company and Maine Paint operating 7 stores throughout Massachusetts and Maine. A family business spanning 3 generations, its original location on Newbury Street which opened in 1939 is the oldest retail establishment on the street. Joshua is a 25 year veteran of the industry and counts many of the large contractors, universities and hospitals in the Boston area as customers. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Bentley University and joined the board of Spectrum For Hope in 2015. In his spare time he coaches his 10 year old daughter's soccer team and is waiting for the day he can take his 1 year old son to his first Patriot's game.
Peter Mahoney

Mr. Mahoney joined Spectrum for Hope in May of 2015. Peter most recently worked for ExpressIt Delivery, a Boston based delivery and logistics company, where he was the Sales & Marketing Manager. Prior to joining ExpressIt Delivery, Peter spent over 20 years at Sager Electronics, a wholly owned subsidiary of TTI Inc., a Berkshire Hathaway Inc. company. Sager is a mid-sized North American distributor of Interconnect, Passive, and Electromechanical components from leading manufacturers worldwide. Over his 20 years at Sager he held the positions of Asset Manager, Corporate Support Services Manager, and Corporate Product Marketing Manager.
Peter currently resides in Cohasset, MA with his wife Merrill and two children, Riley and Jack. Peter grew up in Abington, MA and attended Abington High School. He then continued his education at Bentley University where he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management (1993).
Brett Rice

Brett is Vice President and Partner at Biosystems of Chesapeake, LLC, an independent distributor for spinal and medical devices. For the last two years, Brett was a Branch Manager with Stryker Spine where he managed all business operations for Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, and Washington DC. Brett is a 1994 graduate of The United States Military Academy at West Point where he was a four year member of The Army Football Team. Upon graduation, he was commissioned and served as a Field Artillery Officer at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma, Camp Hovey, South Korea, and Ft. Carson, Colorado. After leaving The Army, Brett held various sales management positions for The Bowdoin Group, an executive search firm, as well as Stryker Spine, and Biosystems of New England.
Brett lives in Severna Park, MD with his wife Megan and their four children, Mackenzie (12), Madison (11), Brett (9), and Macie (5). Brett and Megan are lifelong friends of The Anastasi’s and Brett is God Father to Jenna Anastasi.
Thomas Washburn

Mr. Washburn brings a wealth of financial and operations experience to the charity board with over 20 years in the litigation support industry. Before starting his own business, he was Vice President of Business Development for Washburn Capital Management, Inc., an asset management firm. Prior to Washburn Capital, he was Vice President of Sales & Operations for one of the world’s leading providers of financial and legal printing, Merrill Corporation. He was responsible for managing, overseeing, and directing fifteen locations with revenue totaling 75 million and a staff of over 2,000 employees. Currently, Washburn is the CEO/CFO of Key Discovery which has 35 employees servicing hundreds of law firms, corporations and financial institutions in their litigation support needs in the Boston metro market.
Tom lives south of Boston in Scituate with his wife Karen and their three daughters Kaitlynn, Sydney and Lexi. In his free time, he loves to hunt for antiques, spend time with his family playing golf, cooking and watching their favorite sports teams. He is also quite the patriot by contributing his time and resources to several charities and organizations which support our veterans. Tom is co-founder of Called to Honor which helps veterans and their families with their day to day needs.
